How did you get into running/training?
In 2013, I was over 20 stone and did little to no exercise! I started losing weight by cycling and to date ive lost over 7 stone!
I started running as something to raise abit of money for Charity in 2018 and it turned into something i now love!
Best sporting moment/achievement in your running lifetime?
I recently ran 12 for 12 Hours, covering 55.4 miles to celebrate my dads birthday and mark 12 years since he died. I am super proud of this!!
Who is your running idol or biggest motivator?
Just anyone who is out there and smashing it really! There are many people on social media who are very inspirational.
Which races are on your to-do list?
London Marathon! Which is coming up in October! Colchester Stampede Half Marathon, also Race To The Stones 100k next July!
What piece of running advice would you give to your younger self?
Definitely to give it a go! I always avoided it unless it was during a game of football or something, i wish i had gotten into it sooner!
What is your favourite post-race snack?
Anything i can get my hands on!
Where is your favourite place to run?
I generally stick to the same routes and really enjoy when i run other places but still very rarely do. Running the GNR though has probably been one of my favourite places to run so far!
What running shoes are you currently wearing?
Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% in Hyper Turquoise
What do you like most about the RunThrough kit?
The branding, the fit, the style! Everything really. Tried and tested for long runs with no issues, even during my 12 hour run wearing RT Shorts and Tee – no rubbing, lightweight, awesome!
What’s your favourite piece of RunThrough kit and why?
Has to be my “ON THE RUN” Tee in Blue. Love the look of it, the fit and with the added bonus of having it personalised too! A Must have!
What would you like to see in our RunThrough range this autumn/winter?
I love a base layer so maybe abit more in the way of something like that? No matter rain or shine, i will still run in a base layer as i feel more comfortable!
If you could introduce a new item to the RTKIT wardrobe (that we do not have on the site yet) what would it be?
There is so much already in the range it is hard to say what i think is missing! Maybe trainers?

Did you know the World Record for running a Half Marathon backwards is 1 Hour 40 Minutes and 29 Seconds!! Faster than me running forwards!
I am also running EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR this year for Kidney Research UK a minimum of 5k!
