About you

How did you to get into running?
I started running because I surprised my primary school at my first school championships, at alexander stadium. I was entered in my first 100m race and I won by a huge margin, so my dad decided to take me to Birchfield Harriers Academy (home is alexander stadium) and I never looked back.

Describe what a typical training week looks like for you?
A typical training week for me starts with strength and conditioning, but I only do that twice a week. For 3/5 days I’m running, depending on the day and time of the season it could be, longer distance, shorter distances or power/plyometrics.
What are your goals for the 2021 year?
My goals for 2021 is to work 10 times harder than I did previous season and be confident in racing throughout a season, post having a long-term injury. My goals are to take the many opportunities to make a GB senior team in 2021 and work towards every single one of them (law of averages). Most importantly, my goal as for many is the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games, as we all are given a second opportunity to work hard towards qualifying for team selection.
How would you encourage people to get involved in your sport or keeping active in general?
I would encourage others to get involved in athletics, by expressing how fun it is to be able to travel to so many places (nationally and internationally) to race and to train with a purpose. It is always a great feeling to fulfil a talent and you should embrace it. Running keeps you fit and you never have to worry about getting your body right for the summer, because you have an ongoing training routine. And most importantly, it increases more energetic and happy emotions.

About RT Kit

What were your initial thoughts on the kit when it arrived?

First off, I liked the unique packaging. When I opened the packaging, my initial though was, this kit is stylish and I’m excited for the next training session.
How does it feel and look once you put your kit on?

It feels really soft in side, especially the half zip tops. I love how the leggings hug onto me but in the most comfortable way. The leggings don’t have strings but I am confident to run in them and not worry about them falling down, because of how much they grip onto me.

What type of training would you wear this kit for?

This kit is something I’m happy to train in through all weathers. I would definitely wear the leggings for speed sessions, because they give so much flexibility and range. The half zip tops are something I’ll wear for longer outdoor running sessions
